Manufacturers and importers must notify Health Canada within 10 days after first sale. Plan who will submit the Cosmetic Notification Form and maintain accurate product information; notification does not replace compliance review. [1]

Ingredient checks
Check the Cosmetic Ingredient Hotlist and its conditions. Use it as a screening tool alongside the applicable cosmetic requirements, not as a complete product approval. [3]
Duties & taxes
Use the official customs resource below as a starting point. Ask your customs broker to confirm the product classification, origin documents, customs value and applicable duties, taxes and fees for this shipment before you accept the quote. [5]
